DW 'Before and After' Ad

My final project for my Copywriting final back in the Fall semester of 2009. With some guidance from my professor Chuck Thompson of Shout Inc. (Baltimore, MD), i revisited an earlier project and made a traditional print advertisement for a fictional weekend marathon of the National Geographic show "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan."

With Chuck i decided to keep the message simple, a before and after shot of a shoe which gives the idea that before Cesar, your dog (and yourself) are defiant and disobedient, whereas after his help, shit is right, and normal. I arranged a photoshoot, we tore the shoe to hell, and i made the ad.

Apparently the Ad worked because it earned me Gold honors in the American Advertising Federations Student ADDY section (the only one to do so in the Baltimore area chapter). Quite an honor, and a great resume builder.
